REI Announces Spring Business Intelligence Protection Seminars

REI has recently opened registration for five upcoming Business Intelligence Protection Seminars (BIPS). REI’s free, one-day seminars are designed to familiarize security professionals with the dangers of information loss through illicit electronic surveillance.

“It’s important for businesses to remember the vulnerabilities in their own offices, buildings, and meeting spaces,” says Mark Uker, REI Training Director. “This goes beyond the theft of intellectual property – even the wrongful exposure of personal conversations between employees can have devastating effects on a company.”

BIPS covers technical surveillance threats including easily-accessible bugging devices and countermeasures used to protect against information theft. In addition, there will be an overview of TSCM equipment and REI’s newest product offerings including the ANDRE™ Advanced Near-field Detection Receiver.

Dates and locations have been finalized for California, Texas, and Nevada. Each seminar will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 4:00 PM. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Seating is limited; attendees are encouraged to register early. Click here to register for a BIPS near you.
